TERMS & CONDITIONS

ENROLMENT Please complete the online or hard copy booking form for each term / full year to enrol for classes and tick the box to ensure you have read and understood the terms & conditions. We will endeavour to offer you your preferred day / time subject to availability. Harmania will always try to best accommodate your preferred slot, if the slot is already booked, we will offer you an alternative. If you wish to book a class outside of normal hours, please email, phone or call in to book. --------------PAYMENT Payments for the full year or term must be paid in advance or at the first class of the school year or school term. If fees are not recieved before or at the first class, the client will lose their place and must reapply. If classes have been taken and payment has not been recieved by the end of term, a letter, email and phonecall will be made before the process of debt recovery will be incurred. The sibling discount will only apply if all/both siblings are enrolling for the full school year/school term. Those paying by post-dated cheques must provide all cheques at the time of booking. If the teacher is unable to give a lesson or class, the student may be given the option of taking that lesson at a re-scheduled time with the student's own teacher or taking the lesson with an alternative teacher within that term. Classes will not be forwarded into subsequent terms/new school year as credit. --------------INSTRUMENTS AND PRACTICE Harmania strongly advises that all students have, or have access to, an instrument to allow sufficient practice at home. Harmania asks that each student endeavours to practise a minimum of 15 minutes at least five days a week, otherwise the student cannot progress successfully, Harmania teachers do not take responsibility for a lack of commitment to practise, this is the responsibility of the student/parent. --------------WITHDRAWAL If a student wishes to withdraw from the school, notice of this must be made in writing to the school. If there are any remaining lessons to be taken which have already been paid, the school will refund the appropriate amount following written notice of withdrawal. --------------CHILD SAFETY Your child’s safety is of paramount importance to us and we ask parents/guardians to ensure that they are at the school on time to collect children after lessons or classes. Children are only under supervision during their scheduled lesson/class. Harmania teachers and staff are not responsible for supervising children outside of these times or outside of the Harmania premises.
